Newen Tribute

One of TWO Colombian artists to visit  for Hit the North 2018. Columbian street art is so vibrant, full of colour and in many cases celebrates a strong connection with nature. Here’s what Visual had to say about it (via Google translate).. 

“Newen” my participation for the Hit the North festival in Belfast - Northern Ireland.  Newen tribute to the native peoples, means strength or energy. It is a very recurring term on themes of South American indigenous cultures located in the Andes Mountain range. The colours are from the wiphala flag of the villages
