The large-scale mural by French street artist Seth is part of the growing Urban Art collection at the Maisel & Friends site in Bayreuth. Seth is internationally renowned for his poetic depictions of children, who often symbolize curiosity, imagination, and the ability to discover new worlds. The Bayreuth mural portrays two children standing before seemingly endless, vividly colored spatial illusions. The geometric color gradients create a striking three-dimensional tunnel effect, evoking the impression of portals leading into other dimensions. While the children are painted in muted tones, the vibrant rainbow colors provide a powerful contrast and draw the viewer's eye deep into the composition. The artwork explores perspective, depth, and the limitless possibilities of imagination. The mural was created as part of the ongoing Urban Art initiative at Maisel & Friends. Since 2016—and especially following the opening of the Liebesbier Urban Art Hotel—the former brewery site has been transformed into an open-air gallery featuring works by internationally acclaimed street artists. Curated by Hera (Jasmin Siddiqui of Herakut), the collection now includes artists from more than 30 countries. Seth's mural is regarded as one of the most striking examples of his distinctive visual language in Germany.
