This electricity box has now been transformed into a work of public art that celebrates Barcelos' embroidery tradition. It stands out as a point of visual interest in the area, attracting the attention of local residents and visitors. Furthermore, this artistic intervention contributes to the revitalisation of urban space and promotes local culture. It is hoped that this initiative will inspire other similar actions throughout the community, demonstrating the power of public art to revitalise and enrich the urban environment.

In The BOX is project organised by Casa da Juventude. The aim is to “involve young people in the creation of new projects that enhance their appreciation and capabilities”.
