Linhas de Sentinela

When we think about the arts and traditions of the people of Barcelos, we immediately think about ceramics and the extremely strong and popular figurative ceramic culture that is easily recognisable.
As such, the works of António Ramalho and Júlia Côta provided inspiration to create a festive composition, especially on Thursdays (local market day). The presence and influence of these figures in the city is so strong that no one would be surprised if they found them at the fair.

In The BOX is project organised by Casa da Juventude. The aim is to “involve young people in the creation of new projects that enhance their appreciation and capabilities”.
