Vento nuovo

 

Una cabina elettrica in disuso a Casteldaccia è per me occasione per tornare, ad un anno esatto dal completamento della “Porta dei Giganti”, al 1992, anno X nella coscienza di tutti. Questa volta ho voluto fissare il fuoco sul momento preciso in cui, nei giovani della mia generazione, camicie di flanella in stile “grunge” e scarpe da ginnastica, nasce la consapevolezza che qualcosa doveva cambiare. Era necessario azzerare tutto, staccare i piedi da terra, trasformare il dolore in energia propulsiva per prendere le distanze dalle logiche mafiose. Era ora di lasciarsi trasportare, spinti dal “vento nuovo”, verso mete altre del pensiero. Dedicato a tutte le vittime di mafia. Per realizzare questo murale sono state usate vernici fotocatalitiche antismog, capaci di assorbire il 65% di Co2.

To create this mural, anti-smog photocatalytic paints were used, capable of absorbing 65% of Co2.
