On December 13, 2022, in Ixmiquilpan, Mexico, a puma was found in a corral devouring a sheep. Residents, along with Civil Protection, managed to protect and relocate the puma. Unfortunately, days later, it died from injuries caused by coyote traps, which are prohibited.
The complaint filed against a neighbor for the death of the animal was confirmed.
