"Manton de Manila"

Mural created in Cabezuela del Valle (Cáceres) about popular identity, taking the motifs from a Manila shawl worn as a complement to regional costume.

By using it as a tapestry on a wall, we are able to decontextualize it, acquiring new meanings and values.
