A vaca Cachena

Art made by Bordalo II, an artist from Lisbon who uses “garbage” as raw material in the construction of his sculptures and murals. This way of intervening in the public space questions excessive consumption, which results in the continuous production of “garbage” and consequently the destruction of the planet, themes that are central to Bordalo II’s artistic work.
You can see this installation on the side wall of the restaurant “A Regional”, in the heart of the town’s historic center.
MurArcos is an Urban Art Festival in Arcos de Valdevez organised by Regg Salgado, Mariana Duarte Santos and Daniela Guerreiro.
