Description
Mutes, a native of Arcos de Valdevez, has made his piece at the wall of Espaço Valdevez: História e Arqueologia, located in Rua da Valeta for MurArcos 2024. Alluding to the Tournament of Valdevez, this mural is a tribute to the history of the birth of Portugal. Modernising this historical moment with cubist features, a colourful palette and using emblematic monuments such as the palace of Giela, to inspire the symbols on the armour of the Portuguese knight of 1141.
MurArcos is an Urban Art Festival in Arcos de Valdevez organised by Regg Salgado, Mariana Duarte Santos and Daniela Guerreiro.
