Fly away

This wall was part of a project to beautify the neigbourhood. Smates prepared 2 designs and the locals voted for a flock of swans flying away. There used to be a old farm here called " 't Swaentje (translated as little swan) that gave its name to the street Zwaantjeslei, so the choice of swans was petty obvious. 
 It was actually the very first official street art project in Merksem
