Let it Flow"
I was commissioned by the owners of the corner house to breathe new life into the blue façade. With this project, they wanted to contribute to the beautification of the neighborhood. The result is a dreamlike scene in which flowers turn into birds, and a stream of leaves and wings escapes the house and moves across the façade. The motion culminates in a large, majestic bird with an elegant floral tail – a kind of mother figure that holds the entire composition together.
“With this illustration, we want to spark the imagination and add a touch of poetry to the everyday streetscape. An invitation for passersby to pause for a moment and let themselves be carried away.”

'Laat het stromen'
Ik kreeg van de eigenaars van het hoekhuis de opdracht om de blauwe gevel nieuw leven in te blazen. Met dit project wilden ze bijdragen aan de verfraaiing van de buurt. Het resultaat is een dromerig tafereel waarin bloemen in vogels veranderen en een stroom van blaadjes en vleugels ontsnapt uit het huis en zich over de gevel beweegt. De beweging mondt uit in een grote, majestueuze vogel met een sierlijke bloemenstaart – een soort moederfiguur die de hele compositie samenhoudt.
“Met deze illustratie willen we de verbeelding prikkelen en een vleugje poëzie toevoegen aan het alledaagse straatbeeld. Een uitnodiging aan voorbijgangers om even stil te staan en zich te laten meevoeren.”
