Closer in distance

This artwork is temporarily on display at the site of the HIV/AIDS monument in Amsterdam. 'Closer is Distance' is a triptych in which two hands, wrapped in bandages, reach out to each other. It is a representation of the struggle and love of the sick and their loved ones.
