Birds and flowers

Deze mural kwam tot stand dankzij SAMA (Street Art Museum Amsterdam) en Eigen Haard.

Het kunstwerk van Irene is een reflectie van de Indische buurt en een eerbetoon aan de kleurrijke en veelzijdige buurt. Natuurlijk omdat de vogels en bloemen geïnspireerd zijn door het natuurlijke erfgoed van Indonesië, maar ook door de kleurrijke inwoners van de buurt.

Irene's artwork is a reflection of the Indische Buurt and a tribute to the colorful and versatile neighbourhood. Of course because the birds and flowers are inspired by Indonesia's natural heritage, but also by the colorful inhabitants of the area.
