The Forge

 Between October and November 2022, Barcelona based artistic center B-Murals curated and produced Osona Artimur Festival, a never been done initiative of the Department of Tourism of Osona (an idyllic region up north BCN full of rivers, mountains and beautiful landscapes), in collaboration with the Catalan company Transit Projectes.

19 well renowned artists from the international muralism scene, the Spanish contemporary art world and some local guns selected through open calls and participatory processes, intervened the streets and the public space of 5 different villages - Prats de Lluçanès, Manlleu, Sant Julià de Vilatorta, Sant Bartomeu del Grau and Alpens -, supported by an extensive production team which included assistants, runners, photographers and filmers.

Nano (@nano4814 ) explores the theme of the forge in this mural located in the courtyard of Alpens’ school.
The clownish and colourful characters, very typical of his work, are pushed to the limits of the design to create space for the action, the forge.
The spark is the central element of this radial composition: it is the origin of everything, an element that is the source of game, fire and movement.
The omniscient face is the spirit of the fire that observes the scene of the two characters fascinated by the embers.

Nano (@nano4814 ) trata el tema de la forja en este mural ubicado en el patio de la escuela de Alpens.
Los personajes clownescos y coloridos, muy tipicos de su obra, están empujados hasta los limites del diseño para dar espacio a la acción, a la forja.
La chispa se impone como elemento central de esta composición radial: es el origen de todo, un elemento que convida el juego, el fuego y el movimiento.
La cara que se intuye, omnisciente, es el espiritu del fuego que observa la escena de los dos personajes fascinados por las ascuas.
