Belonging
Description
September 2022
Mural artist Adam Fujita said, "With all the division and marginalization that has become commonplace in our society, I wanted to create an inclusive mural based on a phrase of belonging. I wanted to design signage that was bright and playful but that also has a profound meaning. The additional illustrations of the dripping heart, emojis and rose are commonplace in my work. The dripping hearts have been a staple of my work for years as well as emojis and the rose is of course the state flower of NY. My hope with this mural is that the viewer will feel invited to come up close to it and that the message will bring peace to the community." (https://albanycentergallery.org/belonging-adam-fujita)

I love art and I love to travel. When I go to a new place my dog, Sparky, we go for lots of walks, exploring whatever city we are in. I love to take that time to hunt for street art. It's makes it fun for both of us (unless he's actually thinking I'm really annoying for stopping so much!!)
