When the artists arrived to paint the wall they had chosen a picture of this Mayan warrior online and as the started to create the piece it became apparent that it looked just like one of the local Shamans right here in Akumal. His name is Indio and the artists had never met him before starting this piece. Coincidental we think not! There is something magic that happened here.
