Light Room

The work created in Aielli in 2017 delicately fits into the "spiazzetta", a small, cozy and welcoming cohort, dear to the social, community and cultural life of the Aielli people, which becomes an "illuminated room" enriched by the play of lines, waves and chiaroscuro painted by the artist's brush. Here Jacopo experiments with an innovative technique to capture the spirit of Borgo Universo: thanks to the use of a mirror he reflects the sun's rays on the wall, following their progress and transformations. Art thus merges not only with the surrounding environment, but also with terrestrial and celestial movements, in a mutual exchange between the cosmos and the brush.
