Fetonte Notturno

The work created in Aielli in 2017 tells, through a mythological episode, two fundamental elements of Aielli's history: on the one hand the relationship with the sky which forms the backdrop to the scene; on the other, the memory of the 1915 earthquake from which Aielli Stazione was born, recalled by the fall of Phaeton, the mythical son of the Sun God who fell from his father's chariot after a crazy and uncontrolled race through the skies. Zamoc was also able to capture with his art the history of Aielli and the still alive signs of our past: they are the signs of a fall and a division, but also of the desire to mend that ancient fracture.
