Description

"Marni naa pudni” is a Kaurna phrase meaning "welcome everyone" or "good you came," and it's a common greeting used to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land.

This indigenous-style mural features the kangaroo and emu, that are displayed on the Australian Coat of Arms. Their presence stands for Australia’s progress as neither animal can walk backwards. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flag decorate the corners, whilst the Rainbow Serpent, a powerful creator in the Dreaming stories, takes centre stage.

I am an avid street art hunter who enjoys documenting murals and recording their changes over time. I love walking in new areas to discover the hidden beauty hidden within Adelaide, South Australia.
