This mural is said to be a kind of self-portrait in which the artist is surrounded by geckos. The runic letters is said to translate into "gecko brooder". The artist died the year after he completed this mural – only 26 years old.
Morten Belvad also directed a movie called "Gecko" in 1997 from his own scriptwriting.
