"ARTEMIDE"

Artemide è figlia di Zeus e sorella di Apollo. E se Apollo è il dio del Sole, Artemide è la dea della luna. C'è un legame stretto tra la luna ed il borgo di Sant'Agata, da dove, pare, "la luna si vede meglio" . I nostri nonni la chiamavano Diana (Ddèna) come gli antichi romani. Ed anche Saverio Strati menziona la dea in libri come "Noi Lazzaroni".

"ARTEMIS"

Artemis is the daughter of Zeus and sister of Apollo. And if Apollo is the god of the Sun, Artemis is the goddess of the moon. There is a close connection between the moon and the village of Sant'Agata, from where, it seems, "the moon is best seen." Our grandparents called her Diana (Ddèna) like the ancient Romans. And even Saverio Strati mentions the goddess in books such as "Noi Lazzaroni."
