The whale

The scene depicts a whale soaring over the rooftops of Paris, a city that has become one of our home bases and a part of our home. It’s a dreamlike representation of the migratory journey this species undertakes each year, traveling thousands of kilometers to complete its biological cycle, always returning home at the end of each one to begin again. That’s why the rooftops at both the beginning and end of the mural always represent the same place. But home is much more than a city; home is also the people and experiences we accumulate in our lives, creating that safe space where we can develop who we are and freely express how we feel.
