Description
Sur la façade du numéro 249 de la rue des Piats se trouve une fresque imposante de 15 mètres sur 7. Elle représente la célèbre chanteuse Nina Simone avec sa fille. Elle a été réalisée à l’occasion de la dernière édition du Tourcoing Jazz Festival par le graffeur Akhine pour le compte du Collectif Renart. Sur le dessin, on peut aussi trouver un X rouge et un R blanc, pour indiquer le nom du quartier (Croix-Rouge).
