La Tisserande

This work, borrowed from Art Nouveau aesthetics, pays tribute to the history of La Ferté-Macé, once marked by weaving and yarn work.

The woman represented, holding a shuttle between her fingers, symbolizes the memory of these artisan hands that have shaped local identity.

Around her, the poppies and cornflowers of the fields recall the typical flora of Normandy, thus linking humans to their environment.

The robin, a discreet but present companion, embodies this balance that is close to my heart: the harmony between man, animal and plant.

A suspended, poetic and soothed moment, reflecting the natural breath of this beautiful region.
