50 years of teaching

Mural made for the 50th anniversary of the C.E.I.P. AREGUME, in Los Silos, on the wall chosen there is an earlier mural made in 2013 by local artist Raquel which has been preserved. My commitment as an artist was to integrate the old mural, which tells the origin of the school and its name, and does not seem two isolated elements. In preserving this historic mural, consider it essential to pay tribute to the thousands of children who have trained at this school, who are the real protagonists and have allowed them, to this day, to continue educating new generations, thanks to the great teachers who have passed through the school.

The mural depicts a child from the past, who writes with concentration, unaware that he is actually "drawing" the history of the future. On the other hand, a girl of the present reads the story that has brought her to the present moment. Around him are drawings that reflect their shared childhood over time, as children have been children any time, anywhere, and in any adult.
