Para Saladina Art Fest 2018.

«Te presto, amor mío, el mar como prenda, pongo a las gaviotas como testigo». Esta cita está compuesta por los títulos de dos libros de cuentos diferentes escritos por Carme Riera. En estas famosas obras, Riera emplea un estilo nuevo y fresco que utiliza el mallorquín para crear una narrativa basada en temas tabú. En estas narraciones, el mar adquiere un papel realmente importante, hasta el punto de volver locos a los personajes.

Emplean un esmalte plateado para hacer esta obra, memoria de los destellos del mar, que además refleja la luz y adquiere diferentes matices a lo largo del día.”

"I lend you, my love, the sea as a pledge, I put the seagulls as a witness." This quote is composed of the titles of two different collections of short stories written by Carme Riera. In these famous works, Riera employs a fresh, new style that the Mallorcan artist uses to create a narrative based on taboo themes. In these stories, the sea takes on a truly important role, to the point of driving the characters mad.

They use silver enamel to create this work, a memory of the glimmering sea, which also reflects the light and takes on different shades throughout the day”.
