Este mural se ha pintado en una de las primeras viviendas construidas en Can Picafort, además declarada patrimonio del pueblo. La propietaria del inmueble, Paquita —pintora jubilada—, ofreció al artista la posibilidad de utilizar fotografías familiares como base para la creación de la obra. La imagen seleccionada muestra a sus hijos hace aproximadamente 40 años, en el mismo lugar donde hoy se encuentra el mural, en una época en la que Can Picafort contaba con tan solo 200 habitantes y aún no había sido transformado por el turismo masivo.

This mural has been painted in one of the first houses built in Can Picafort, also declared heritage of the village. The owner of the property, Paquita -a retired painter-, offered the artist the possibility of using family photographs as the basis for the creation of the work. The selected image shows her children approximately 40 years ago, in the same place where the mural is located today, at a time when Can Picafort had only 200 inhabitants and had not yet been transformed by mass tourism.
