In 2021, the Waste Department of the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch called on the help of Kings of Colors to start transforming the boring metal containers in the city into beautiful and colorful works of art.

Giedo Mommersteeg is visual artist at Studio Snapte. He studied at Sint Lucas in Boxtel (2006-2010) and the Willem De Kooning Academy in Rotterdam (2010-2014).
