The Weird (often officially referred to as The Weird Crew) is a legendary, internationally acclaimed 10-member German-Austrian urban art collective and street art crew. Founded in 2011 during a street art festival in Vienna, they revolutionized the scene by becoming one of the very few high-profile graffiti crews entirely dedicated to complex character design and narrative pop-surrealism rather than traditional lettering. When painting together, they do not divide the wall into distinct boxes. Instead, they organically stitch their wildly different individual styles together into a seamless, giant, chaotic storybook canvas.
