Richar Santana, 1987 / Gran Canaria. Spain - From the age of 16 (2003) he was attracted by creative enrichment and interventions in public space. Over the years he has discovered a growing digital world, generating a vital stimulus to discover a more open experimental world with infinite possibilities. - Richar Santana career begins with the completion of the Diploma in Graphic Design and Multimedia Production in Granada (Spain 2007-2010), his project PlayColor (2009 - 2013) where its main function is based on carrying out interventions in public spaces around color. and urban interaction. - In 2011-2012, after the last year of studies with video editing, he decided to study videomapping and subsequently created 'GraffMapping', a fusion between graffiti / mural and videomapping that identifies with his creative evolution over the years. This project has opened the artistic doors of the world, expanding this project to different cities in Spain and countries such as the EE.UU, Argentina, Mexico, Philippines, Hong Kong or South Korea, among others. - His works have been presented at international festivals, art centers such as: Adobe Creative Meet Up 2015 (Madrid Casa Encendida), OFFF Barcelona (Museum of Design) 2015, Ibiza Light Festival (2017-2018), Aruba Art Fair (2017-2019), EDC Las Vegas 2019, Nascar Miami Homestead 2019, Miami Art Basel (2018-2019), Blink Cincinnati 2022/2024, Ultra Miami 2023... - Richar is attracted to interventions in public spaces, whether through light or painting, different forms of expression that allow direct interaction with people passing by at the time of their creation. Strolling through cities and seeing architecture or gray spaces that become a great canvas where being able to bring life and color is their mission.
