Patrick Edward Indo (b. 1982) is an accomplished mural artist, award-winning graffiti pop street artist, illustrator, digital artist, and graphic designer based in Crescent Head, Northern NSW, Australia. INDO studied graphic design, multimedia, and illustration at Hornsby TAFE in Sydney. Over the years, he honed his craft as a Senior Designer and Art Director in industries including advertising, television broadcast, textile design, and publishing. He contributed to iconic multinational brands and media, designing for magazines and newspapers before fully dedicating himself to his art in 2014. Initially focusing on canvas work, INDO eventually transitioned into large-scale murals that now enliven urban landscapes. His bold, contemporary creations have led to collaborations with renowned brands and organizations such as ING Direct Bank, ANZ Bank, Fuel TV, Sony BMG, Red Bull, Rolling Stone Magazine, Vegemite, Samaritans, Inner West Council Sydney, and Port Macquarie Council. INDO's work is celebrated for its explosive and inspiring energy. A neo-expressionist in the graffiti pop street art movement, his signature style fuses poetic and rhythmic graffiti-inspired text with intricate stencils and vibrant grunge textures. He draws inspiration from the world around him, weaving in references to pop culture, music, film, consumerism, and iconic historical moments. INDO's artistic achievements are notable. He has won multiple live street art battles, including the Tiger Beer Live Street Art Battles in Sydney, and was a featured speaker for VIVID’s iManifest at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Circular Quay. His murals have garnered recognition at the Australian Street Art Awards, and he has twice been a finalist for the Australian of the Year Award (Northern NSW) for his contributions to public art. Today, INDO’s works continue to inspire communities, blending vivid imagination with a dynamic urban aesthetic that transforms public spaces into immersive, thought-provoking experiences. #streetartist #muralartist #publicart #urbanartist #popstreetartist #indotheartist #streetart
