Jachya Freeth woas brn in 1974, he grew up in the urban street culture of Amsterdam, heavily influenced by the rise of the early techno, graffiti, and underground art scenes. On the streets, he is well-known for his character "Stanko" — a distinctive, stylized clown figure he began painting live in Amsterdam to brighten up ugly or impoverished urban public spaces.
