David Radon

David Radon is a prominent German mixed-media and street artist whose roots are deeply embedded in the North Rhine-Westphalia graffiti subculture. Born in 1975 in Neheim-Hüsten, he currently lives and works out of nearby Dortmund. Together with Patrick Droste he founded the agency and gallery „Art is just a four letter word“ in December 2012 in Soest, Germany. His unmistakable trademark is the burning or burnt matchstick which he uses as a ymbol both visually and physically across his art pieces to represent themes of transience, destruction, and the "igniting" of new creative processes.
