David Petroni (Buenos Aires, 1984) Argentine artist. He studied Fine Arts at the National University of Art (UNA) and Graphic Design at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism (F.A.D.U) of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). His artistic practice includes urban spaces (murals) and studio work, ranging from painting to engraving or three-dimensional volume. David Petroni's formal and aesthetic search is fundamentally based on a deep study of color, and how it intervenes in the spatial construction of the work and in visual perception. Among his main concerns is the study of light, which is also given through the games of colors and transparencies. He carried out work in Buenos Aires, Lima, Paris, Lisbon, Rome, Gdansk, Barcelona and Miami among other cities. Lives and works in Buenos Aires.
